What started out as a passion project between two brothers, Sebas and Vasco, quickly turned into a mission to redefine one of the most consumed foods in the U.S.—bread. Growing up in a family of high-quality purveyors, they developed a deep appreciation for health, wellness, and world-class gastronomy, always seeking out the best ingredients. But when it came to bread, they found themselves disappointed by the options available—filled with preservatives and unnecessary additives. Determined to find a better way, they set out to create a true sourdough made from nothing but simple, wholesome ingredients—just as it was meant to be.

Fueled by their entrepreneurial spirit, Sebas and Vasco partnered with a master artisanal baker to produce ultra-premium, small-batch sourdough that aligns with how food should be: real, nourishing, and made with care. Their goal isn’t just to bake great bread—it’s to disrupt the bread aisle and bring back the kind of food we were always meant to eat. Masamadra is a return to tradition with a forward-thinking mindset, proving that quality and simplicity can truly change the way we nourish ourselves.
